Staff

Rondon and Rachel both serve on the Top Gun staff. They have two daughters Reagan Kennedy James age fourteen and  Rhyann Johnlee James , age 3.  Rondon and Rachel are both active members of First Assembly of God in Kingsport, Tennessee where they have been attending church for the past 15 years.  Rondon is the Founder, Owner and Head Coach of Top Gun Cheerleading LLC and the Head Cheer leading and Mascot Coach for Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee, Rondon also serves as a USASF Head Safety Judge.  Rachel is the School Couselor at Joseph Rogers Primary School in Rogersville, Tenneeeee she serves as an assistant all-star coach as well as running the preschool program. here at Top Gun.  Rachel is also the Head Cheerleading Coach for Volunteer High School

 Coaching Accomplishments 

For several years Rondon has been recognized with Who’s Who among American Cheerleading coaches. Rondon is currently a USASF certified safety judge and judges numerous events for the USASF and the World Spirit Federation.  He has  served as a judge for the National Cheerleaders Association where he has judged both high school and all-star nationals for numerous years.

 Rondon has also judged for CheerSport, NCA, CCC, Cheer ltd., Pop Warner, WSF, The American Open, Americheer, ECA and many other organizations. Rondon is a safety certified coach through Level 5 with Usasf and a USA gymnastics. He is also certified with NCA as a collegiate and secondary schools safety certified coach. He is also a member of the USASF and safety certified as well with the USASF.

John Rowan returns to Top Gun this season.  John was a memmber of the "Original Top Gun All-Stars" in 1992-93 and cheered for Top Gun from 92-96.  He then cheered for East Tennessee State University from 1996-1998.  John served as an all-star coach from 1999-2001.  In 2001 John moved to South Carolina where he served as an all-star coach for Carolina All-Stars for 3 years.  In 2003 John took a job with the World Spirit Federation as their Director of Operations.  John worked for WSF in this capacity from 2003-2007.  In 2007 John moved back to the area and served as the Manager for Premier Cheerleading in Johnson City from 2007-2009.  After a year John has returned to coaching and is serving as an all-star coach and tumbling coach for Top Gun,  Welcome Home!

Kaysee Armstrong comes to us from Morristown, Tennessee where she was a Varsity Cheerleader ar Morristown Eash High School. Kaysee also was a member of the Top Gun Senior All-stars from 2006-2008.  While on the Top Gun teams Kaysee received national recognition and numerous national championships.  Kaysee is currently a student at Walter State Community College and is the Head Instructor of the Top Gun Preschool Program. She has been active in cheerleading for the past eleven years. Kaysee is also a Head Instructor for the Top Gun Summer Camp Program.

Sarah Kinsler comes to us from Morristown, Tennessee she was a member of the Large Senior All-stars  here at Top Gun from 2006-2008. Sarah is one our class instructors as well as an Assistant all-star coach and Head Instructor for our summer camp program.  Sarah is currently a student at East Tennessee State University.
